Multifoil Loft Insulation Installation in Colchester Our insulation installers began by removing 200mm of earthwool from the loft, leaving 100mm between the joists – and preparing them for the addition of brand new boarding throughout.After OSB boarding was installed, we used two layers of Multifoil SF19 to insulate the pitched part of the roof, putting in place a new timber loft ladder and hatch to finish off.
