Loft Storage Room Installation (Option 3) in Cumbria

Lisa wanted to completely revolutionise her loft space with our loft storage rooms. We began by removing all existing insulation and thoroughly sweeping and vacuuming the loft floor. We installed Multifoil and insulated plasterboard to create a warm loft, followed by SupaSoft insulation between the joists. We cross-braced the joists for added strength, fully boarded the loft space, and covered it with luxury vinyl flooring. The exposed roof timbers and plasterboard were sanded and given a whitewash. We installed electrical lighting operated by a light switch and an automatic loft ladder controlled with a remote. Access panels were added to ensure easy reach to wiring or piping in the future.
